How Berenith and clients judge success
- Coverage achieved and priority areas observed.
- Time from task or alert to usable aerial information.
- Data completeness, image quality and re-flight rate.
- Number and quality of actionable inspection observations.
- Safety exposure avoided relative to conventional access methods.
- Client adoption, report use and operational response closure.
Operating in alignment with South African requirements
Specific approvals depend on the mission, aircraft, airspace, location, time, proximity to people and property, and whether the operation is VLOS, BVLOS, automated or remote.
| Control area | Berenith position |
|---|---|
| Commercial UAS operations | Flights are executed only through the required approved operator model, registered aircraft, competent personnel and authorized procedures. |
| Site and airspace approval | Every mission includes a site authority check and airspace review. Special operations proceed only after applicable approval. |
| Pilot and crew competence | Crew assignment reflects the aircraft, environment, mission complexity and operational specification. |
| Aircraft readiness | Pre-flight, maintenance, battery, firmware, payload and defect controls are recorded and governed. |
| Weather and environment | Wind, visibility, temperature, precipitation, electromagnetic effects, terrain and obstacles form part of go/no-go decisions. |
| People and ground risk | Launch zones, exclusion areas, observers, public interfaces and emergency procedures are defined before operation. |
| Insurance and contracting | Required insurance, liability allocation, site responsibilities and deliverable limitations are confirmed contractually. |
No blanket approval claim: the inclusion of a platform or use case in this profile does not mean every mission is automatically legal or operationally approved. Each deployment is assessed and authorized on its own facts.
